Free buses to and from town
Bus rides depart and return to the iSite on Grey st from 11:30 am. Last buses will leave the venue around 8:15pm
You will be issued with a cup upon arrival. We’re also working on a cup-for-coffee exchange from Raglan Roast. (neat eh). More details to come.
There will be free water at every brewery and winery, and also a hydration area to fill / rinse your cup.

11am we will be hosting a workshop on growing hops in Tairawhiti. We will have quest speakers and your welcome to join the conversation. Who knows, we may start an flourishing industry in our region.
We’re working on a special festival dollar that’ll be unique and fun. Online ticket options include pre-loading with tokens, given to you at the gate, to avoid potential queues. So far about 1/2 of the tickets have been pre-loaded.

For the day
The Festival is located at the Jolly Stockman, 3 Saleyards Rd, Matawhero, Gisborne, and the paddock alongside.
Getting to the festival:
We encourage using the free bus service or pickups and drop off to the venue from the iSite on Grey st. - There is limited car parking on site, but ample street parking on Saleyards rd. - We recommend if you are being dropped off or picked up, that you drive to the venue via Bushmere rd to Bell rd to Saleyards rd. - This avoids the dangerous intersection at Awapuni Rd altogether. With your ticket an accompanying map showing this will be sent.
Leaving the festival:
Please be respectful of our neighbour when leaving the Festival. We also ask that you dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.
Bring your ID & Tickets:
While we can scan tickets on your mobile phone or tablet, paper tickets are much quicker and will reduce your time in queues! The Festival will require you to present proof-of-age ID. This event is R18, therefore children are not permitted at the event or inside the venue.
This will be a cashless festival. You can exchange money for festival dollars via eftpos at the Token Exchange. The Ticketing options include preloaded tickets, so you can pickup your tokens when you arrive at the gate and avoid queues.

First Aid zone
Next to the Hydration zone is the First Aid zone. marquee, shade and some comfy places to rest, recuperate, and have any injuries seen too. First Aid help will advise you if you are intoxicated, as to whether your day is up with the festival or not.
Sunblock, hat and sunnies if it looks to be fine day, and drink responsibly. Although there will be seating scattered around the place, feel free to bring a blanket. Occasionally in April it rains, so bring a jacket and be prepared.
Please leave food & drink at home:
Our amazing selection of breweries and food vendors have everything you could possibly want, from beer to wine, soft drinks, coffee and all sorts of delicious meals and snacks. Unfortunately homemade food and drinks are not permitted to be brought into the festival.
Never drink and drive. Arrange someone to drop off and collect you after the Festival, use the free bus from the iSite and back or have a designated driver. There are many options to ensure you and your friends and family remain safe before and after the event, ask our team if you need assistance.
We will be erecting marquees if it looks like it will rain 3-4 days out from the event. As it's the only day in Easter we can open this festival, it will be on.
You will receive a plastic 340ml glass upon arrival. We will have an exchange for cups in exchange for a coffee with Raglan Roast. This will be announced closer to the event.
Visitors will only be admitted to this event if they are in possession of a valid admission ticket and valid ID in the form of Licence, Passport or HANZ 18+ if you look under 25yrs
There will be a security search of all bags at the point of entry to the event.
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.
This ticket is not refundable. It cannot be exchanged or resold for commercial gain.
No person under the age of 18 will be admitted and proof of age may be required at the gate. Please note that our Licence does not permit us to admit babies in prams, very young children or anyone else under the age of 18.
Other than guide or assistance dogs, no dogs are permitted.
